The private antenatal package provides antenatal care at a time and place convenient to the client, normally at home in the day, evenings or at weekends.

This package also offers the opportunity for the partner to be involved in antenatal care and enables their questions to be addressed at the same time.

Currently private antenatal care is offered by The Prenatal Company in the West London area. Clients are charged for the package as a whole and routine blood testing, such as that offered by the NHS, is incorporated in the cost.

The care provided includes up to 12 appointments. In addition to the routine tests, our service offers other relevant blood tests. Clients have access to a named midwife, available for support via pager, email and mobile Monday to Friday from 9am-7pm.

The advantage of easy access to the named midwife during the day is that the midwife will be easily able to access their notes, discuss care and provide information and advice easily.

Outside these hours women will be able to contact their booking hospital labour ward, birthing unit or independent midwife for advice. Post natal visits can be arranged after the birth for advice and support if required.
