With a contract for services with The Prenatal Company as well as the antenatal appointments, classes and structured keeping in touch days the Prenatal Company will provide:-

  • Additional support by telephone and email for expectant parents.
  • Talks on maternal and child nutrition open to all employees.
  • Advice on baby products and services for all employees.
  • Liaison with manager, team, Human Resources and On-site Health Provider.
  • Post natal telephone follow up at 2 weeks, 4 weeks and 6 weeks.
  • Coordination of mentoring buddy scheme within the business.
  • Link in to internal networks and Corporate Communications.
  • Seminars on parenting issues and talks on child related health topics (e.g. MMR Vaccinations).

  • Antenatal classes

    • Birth preparation class
    • This class is offered as part of a two day birth preparation course which can be run 'in-house' or externally in a location close to the work place for convenience. This class can be made available to all expectant partners as well as pregnant employees.

    • Breathing and relaxation class
    • This class is offered as a one to one class either at work or in a nearby location as an individual or a group class. This class teaches breathing techniques to cope with labour and birth. This class can be made available to all expectant partners as well as pregnant employees.

    Keeping in touch days
    We can offer consultations on keeping in touch days to help the employee plan their transition back to work after maternity or paternity leave. This can encompass time management, breastfeeding, bottle feeding and expressing advice and managing working life as a parent.

    These three classes cost can be offered on or off-site. This series of classes gives parents the confidence to deal with childhood illness and ailments. This empowers the parents but also means less time taken off work as they can confidently deal with minor illness and ailments. This class can be made available to all expectant partners as well as pregnant employees.
